Immanuel Game Day Notes

Tonight’s Dairyland Conference girls’ basketball game features two teams with one loss in conference play. Immanuel Lancers are hosting the Panthers from Gilmanton. Last year Gilmanton won both games against Immanuel by scores of 46 – 36 and 52 – 48.

Gilmanton
Justin Redetzke is in his fourth season of coaching girls’ varsity basketball at Gilmanton. The Lady Panthers return seven players with significant varsity experience including juniors 5’ 9” All-Conference forward Cheyenne Gray and 5’ 8” guard Kelsey Thompson (15.5 ppg).

Immanuel
Immanuel enters tonight’s game with a 3 - 1 record. The Lady Lancers are led by 5’ 10” senior captains, April Oster (7.0 ppg, 7.3 rebounds per game & 3.0 blocks per game) and 5’ 6” Stephanie Lau (5.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg & 3.0 assists per game). Other statistical leaders include 5’ 11” junior Jessica Ohlmann (11.3 ppg and 10.8 rpg); 5’ 2” junior, Renae Markus (3.0 apg & 5.0 steals per game); 5’ 7” junior Katherine Kazemba (5.8 ppg & 6.0 rpg); and 5’ 6” Amy Roehl (6.5 ppg). Senior captain Kelsey Albrecht will be out until after Christmas with a severe right ankle sprain.
