Note: Immanuel avenged an earlier season 34-40 loss to Whitehall today in the Dairyland 4th place matchup of Small versus Large. With the victory, Immanuel accumulated double-digit wins for the season, this being only the 4th time in Immanuel's history that it has accomplished this feat. Congrats girls!!!

Inside Girls Hoops - Mar. 4

The Eau Claire Immanuel girls finally received some mention in the weekly report "Inside Girls Hoops" of the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram. Under the Fast Break section:
Immanuel Lutheran beat Gilmanton on Monday to improve to 9-10 overall, quite an improvement from last season's 4-17 mark. The Lancers won just six games in 2007-'08 and eight games in 2006-'07. The 2005-'06 team was 14-6. Freshman Abbie Hein had 25 points in the victory over Gilmanton.

With last night's final conference games, the Dairyland Challenge for this coming Saturday, March 6, is now set. Immanuel will be playing Whitehall at 10 am.

2010 WIAA Tournament Seeding

The WIAA has released its tournament schedule and seeding for Division 4:

Eau Claire Immanuel received the #6 seed in Sectional 3, Regional A. To begin the tournament they will play the #3 seed, Alma-Pepin, on Tue., March 9, 7 pm. Since the top team gets home advantage, the game will be away for Immanuel, played at Pepin HS.
