NOTE: McDonell's entire game strategy was to delay. Beginning with 3 minutes left in the 1st half (once they had gotten into the lead), they utilized a "4 corners" offensive scheme to delay. This was used the entire 2nd half of the game, greatly limiting Immanuel from having possession of the ball. It turned out to be a lot of standing around instead of playing the game. This game was clearly a great example of why a shot clock is necessary in high school basketball. Many Immanuel fans and parents drove for over hundreds of miles to watch a basketball game and many resources are utilized to provide the youth an opportunity to play.
