(2) Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran 3, (3) Owen-Withee 2: Katherine Kazemba had 33 digs, 12 kills and six aces to lead the Lancers, who won the fifth set 15-13.

Jess Ohlmann added 25 kills and Heidi Lau had 46 assists to help Immanuel Lutheran hold off the Blackhawks, who rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie the match at 2-all.

"They started passing better in the second two games," Immanuel Lutheran coach Joe Lau said. "The last game was all back-and-forth."

Renae Markus had 35 digs for the Lancers, who face top-seeded Chippewa Falls McDonell today.

The second-seeded Lancers swept the seventh-seeded Chiefs, 25-7, 25-11, 25-12 to advance to a regional semifinal against Owen-Withee on Friday night on campus.

The Blackhawks, the No. 3 seed, swept sixth-seeded Gilman, 25-16, 25-8, 25-16.

Katherine Kazemba had 10 aces and 10 kills for the Lancers (24-4), while Jess Ohlmann had four aces and 14 kills.

Heidi Lau had 26 assists for Immanuel Lutheran.
