NOTE:  The Lancers overcame a 14 point deficit during the 3rd quarter to get the 8-point victory this evening, outscoring Whitehall 24-8 in the 4th quarter.  While there was a lot of rust due to the long Christmas break, the girls competed tough in the end to etch out the win.

There was a lot of movement in the Division 5 rankings this week but Heritage Christian continues to be the #1 team despite a loss to Divsion 1 school Milwaukee Riverside. Assumption traveld to Barnevled on Saturday and knocked off the Golden Eagles 44-41. The Royals also beat Richland Center, a D3 school, on Friday night and move up to #2 in the WisSports.net Coaches Poll. South Shore ended Hurley's 83-game Indianhead Conference winnig streak on Friday night and jump two spots to #4. Clayton, New Lisbon and Newman Catholic round out the Top 10.
