Eau Claire Immanuel's game with McDonell Central has been rescheduled.  Originally slated for January 14, it will now be played on January 24:

2013 WIAA Bracket Setup Update

The WIAA has updated its breakdown of teams for the 2013 WIAA basketball tournament from what it was in July.  Here is the WIAA setup. The Immanuel girls will be in Regional D of Sectional 1 (Spooner).  This is quite a change from the past few years.  Last year Immanuel was in Half Bracket A of Sectional 3.  The Regional bracket includes the following teams:

WSN Basketball Rankings - Dec 11 (Week 2)

WSN Basketball Rankings for December 11, Week 2 of 2012-13 season, Division 5 (See WSN Commentary):

NOTE:  After being #7 last week, Immanuel dropped from the list.

Commentary:
Division 5
Heritage Christian remains at #1 in the Week 2 Coaches Poll and two through six remain the same as well. Seven through nine feature Fall River, Benton/Shullsburg and South Shore who all moved up one spot from last week. New Lisbon is the addition to this week's rankings after beating Scenic Bluffs Conference favorite Hillsboro in overtime 47-36 on Friday night.
