Commentary:
Division 5
Defending state champion Heritage Christian opens at #1 in
the WisSports.net Coaches Poll. This comes at no surprise as they
return nearly their whole team from last season. Head coach Terry
Bennett will need to replace Moriah Begin after she decided to attend a
prep school in Virginia but with Jazmine Harris, among others they will
again be the favorite in Division 5. Perennial power Barneveld begins at
#2 while state runner-up Owen-Withee is #3. The rest of the top 5
includes, Assumption and Potosi.
