In New Auburn, the Trojans came back in the second half to improve to the best start they’ve had in four years.
Down 22-15 at half, New Auburn scored 15 points in the third and 18 in the fourth.
Brooke North was 4 of 4 on free throws in the fourth, while Marissa Baldry was 6 of 8.
“We made free throws right when we needed them,” New Auburn coach Bill Peterson said. “Those were huge down the stretch.”
Randi Trott had 13 points to lead New Auburn (3-1), while Abbie Hein’s 11 were for most for Immanuel Lutheran (3-2).

WIAA Basketball Plan for 5 Divisions
The WIAA this past summer announced the following proposal to go to 5 divisions in both boys and girls basketball, bumping up private schools one division if they met certain criteria:

The criteria that was used would have bumped up Immanuel.
Just recently the WIAA moved ahead to the next step with going to 5 divisions, forming a committee to decide how to accomplish this:
